WE DID NOT ENDORSE ANY SENATORIAL ASPIRANT- IDU YOUTH CLARIFIES.
The leadership of the IDU Youth Wing has clarified that the youth body did not endorse any senatorial aspirant during their recent gathering.
Comrade Unuafe Sunday Edewor, the 2nd Vice President, Comr. Warri Eriques, Secretary- General and other critical stakeholders of the IDU Youth Wing, emphatically refuted ongoing propangada of endorsemens of a senatorial aspirant in their gathering on Wednesday, 8th April. Nothing like endorsement happened on this floor, they stated.
In a similar vein, the President of the IDU Youth Wing, Comrade Joel Emeni, expressed regret over the misrepresentation. He appealed for calm and asked his members to sheath their swords over their anger on the so called endorsement claim. . Lets move on, he pleaded.
Speaking during the interaction, Sir Itiako Ikpokpo , ksm emphasized the need for sustained engagement and inclusive representation.
“I have come to engage and interact with the youths of IDU on issues affecting them and the Isoko nation in general, and how we can collectively tackle them when given the mandate to represent Delta South in the Nigerian Senate.
“There is a significant communication gap , a regrettable disconnect. Our representative must not only appear every election cycle to seek votes and endorsements. From day one, I will create platforms for continuous, unrestricted communication and engagement.
“We will facilitate the development of a comprehensive youth database to guide empowerment initiatives, employment opportunities, and entrepreneurship support.
“I will convene all critical stakeholders to a roundtable to discuss and implement lasting solutions to the persistent electricity challenges in Isoko,” Ikpokpo stated.
