DELTA SOUTH CAN’T WAIT: THE CLUE AGENDA EXPLAINED
Why Chief Itiako Ikpokpo is starting 2027 conversations now

Good morning, Delta South.

Yesterday at the IDU Secretariat, Chief Itiako Ikpokpo met with leaders and people of Isoko Nation. Not for a rally. For a conversation. The message was simple: quality representation begins long before election day. It begins with listening.

For too long, the distance between Abuja and Delta South has been more than geography. It has been silence. Projects approved but not delivered. Decisions taken without explanation. Our graduates building dreams outside the state because opportunity stayed behind.

That is why he is putting forward the CLUE Agenda for Delta South 2027. Four commitments. No fine print.

C – COMMUNICATE: No More Silence After Elections
Every Senate sitting will be followed by a report back home. Town-halls in Oleh, Ozoro, Patani, Warri, Burutu, and every major center. You will know how your Senator voted, what bill he sponsored, and how it affects your community. Representation without feedback is not representation.

L – LEGISLATE: Laws That Come Home
We go to Abuja to bring development back, not just to attend. That means pushing the Niger Delta Development Priority Fund Bill to ringfence federal projects with timelines. It means binding motions on the completion of the East-West Road and Warri Port dredging. It means education bills that fund technical schools in our LGAs, not just new universities far away.

U – UNITE: One Voice, Stronger Bargaining Power
Ijaw, Isoko, Itsekiri, Urhobo. When we speak as one district, Abuja listens. A divided Delta South gets ignored in budget debates. The CLUE Agenda commits to building a single Delta South caucus in the National Assembly. We argue policy, not tribe.

E – EMPOWER: Opportunity Must Live Here
Empowerment is not photos with starter packs. It is access. Constituency projects will fund permanent skills centers in each federal constituency. Support for women traders in major markets from Ozoro to Ogbe-Ijoh. Structured grants and mentorship for youth building businesses in tech, fisheries, oil services, and creative work. If our people are already hustling, government should remove roadblocks, not just give handouts.

This is not a promise for 2027. It is a plan we are starting now, so you can hold us to it early.

Delta South deserves a Senator who stays close, speaks up, and brings results home. Chief Itiako Ikpokpo, Malik, understands that assignment.
