Obomovo calls for Active participation in E-registration exercise
… Says APC card is a prerequisite for party membership
As effort to get everyone, mostly party faithful registered in the ongoing Electronic Registration(E-registration) exercise for All Progressives Congress(APC) members nationwide thickens, Frontline Aspirant for Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Sir(Bldr) Blessing Obomovo, Ksc, Msc, Fniob, has appealed to the good people of Isoko nation to participate actively in the registration exercise to obtain their membership card, noting that it is only with a valid card that qualifies one as full fledged member of a political party.
Obomovo who made the call on Thursday, (22/1/2026), maintained that being a member of a political party alone doesn’t automatically qualifies one as a recognized member but by having a valid membership card which has all the signatures intact does.
He said that as the 2027 general election was fast approaching, it has become pertinent for all Isoko indigenes to get their membership cards ready, saying that it serves as the ticket they can be recognized as bonafide members of the platform. He disclosed that the card doesn’t just differentiate one from others in other political parties, but also makes them standout and as proud ambassadors of the Renewed Hope For More Agenda of His Excellency, Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, Delta State Governor and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
” I want to use this medium to appeal to the good people of Isoko nation to actively participate in the ongoing E-registration exercise to obtain their APC membership card. It is important to have a valid identity as a member of a political party and the opportunity is already in our doorsteps. We should use it wisely and ensure that we get our membership cards ready as we prepare for the 2027 general election.
It is only when we have the APC membership card that we can boldly say we are members. We should pass the information across to everyone especially those in the rural areas and enlighten them of the importance of having the APC membership card.
The APC is big enough to accommodate everyone regardless of tribe, religion and political affiliations. The task is to get everyone prepared ahead and that’s what the ongoing E-registration exercise-which is to obtain your membership card signifies”. Obomovo outlined.
