CONSULTATION VISIT TO APC ISOKO SOUTH LGA EXECUTIVES AND WARD CHAIRMEN
In line with the OGHALEISOKO2027 commitment on steady & continuous consultation, yesterday carried a certain kind of weight; the quiet but deliberate kind.
Sir Bldr. Blessing O. Obomovo, under the OGHALEISOKO2027 Agenda, met with the leadership of the APC in Isoko South, including ward leaders and key stakeholders, in a consultation that presents the OGHALEISOKO2027 Agenda.
The visit wasn’t about noise but he came with clarity and at the heart of his engagement was the presentation of his six-point agenda, not as lofty promises, but as practical pathways & a demonstration of commitment to achieve.
Strategic Lobbying & Representation:
He spoke about positioning Isoko where decisions are made, ensuring the constituency is not just present, but prioritized.
Infrastructure Development:
Jumpstarting Isoko industrialisation with focusing on the basic systems people rely on daily, efficient power, because development, at the end of the day, must be felt.
Human Capital Development:
Investing in people, especially youth and women, through education, skills, and opportunity as well as supporting small businesses, local enterprise, and creating room for growth that starts from within the community has always been his hallmark.
Healthcare & Social Welfare:
He spoke on pushing for accessible and responsive healthcare systems that reflect real needs on the ground for our people using the instrumentality of the office of house of Representative.
Unity & Inclusive Governance:
At the heart of every nation and progress is strengthening the bond within the party and across communities, because progress rarely happens in fragments.
While he didn’t just dwell on the points as if they were the headline, he shown the commitment reminding us of practical impact over experimentation noting “no day nor month, not a year or tenure should be used as experiments as Isoko is a small nation and we must uphold performance and utilization at every given opportunity to demonstrate capacity and deliver the dividend of democracy to our people.
He returned, again and again, to something more foundational
Representation over control.
Sir Blessing re-emphasized that his aspiration is not to lead over party leaders, but to represent alongside them. To serve as a bridge between the grassroots structure and the opportunities that exist beyond it. Not a figure above the system, but one shaped by it.
As the road to the primaries unfolds, the OGHALEISOKO2027 AGENDA continues in it commitment of unity and inclusive consultation.
He also noted, contest is not a fight but must be with objectives and not hatred for indifference.
The party Chairman Hon. Victor Ekelega responded with openness & commended Sir Blessing’s OGHALEISOKO2027 Agenda. He also encouraged him to continue his consultation reaching out to all leaders within the party.
