The Federal government deserves commendation for launching Free TV, a new digital television platform aimed at expanding access to quality broadcasting and ushering in a new era of free digital television for millions of Nigerians.
According to Chief John Okorie, this is a welcome development to launch into Digital Switch-Over DSO to have access to free stations without subscription.
We cannot continue to depend on foreigners to provide TV stations access to us; we cannot be promoting consumption without being a productive country.
Speaking further, Chief John Okorie said this free TV Mobile app will help reduce exorbitant subscriptions to major digital companies.
The Federal government must set up a continuity process team of sustainability on this Free TV app application.
At least with over 100 stations can be watched on our mobile phones, that would cut the cost of a monthly subscription.
Again, quality stations should be exact like DSTV, GOTV and others.
