Ambassador Odidi Godday Aguriase (OGA), the founder and driving force behind Mindset Media, has reiterated that the Mindset Media brand is not established for one political party, individual, organisation, or business interest, but is a platform open to all political parties, entrepreneurs, corporate organisations, and individuals across Nigeria.

According to him, the strength of media lies in its ability to create bridges, provide visibility and give people from different backgrounds an opportunity to share their stories, ideas, achievements and contributions to society.

“Mindset Media belongs to everybody. Whether you belong to APC, PDP, Labour Party or any other political platform, whether you are a small business owner or the CEO of a large organisation, there is a place for you,” OGA explained.

He stressed that the media organisation’s responsibility is to promote constructive conversations, entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation and excellence rather than becoming an instrument for unnecessary political division.

Mindset Media has historically positioned itself around personality promotion, business visibility, conferences, seminars and recognition of individuals and organisations making meaningful contributions.

OGA maintained that Nigeria is a diverse nation, and the media must reflect that diversity. In his view, political differences should not prevent people from working together, networking, promoting businesses and exchanging ideas that can contribute to national development.

He further noted that a politician should be able to engage with entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives and community leaders irrespective of party affiliation. Similarly, businesses should have access to media platforms where they can communicate their products, services, innovations and corporate achievements to a wider audience.

“Our doors are open. We don’t want to build a media brand that only talks to one group. We want to build a platform where different political interests, businesses and professionals can find common ground through ideas, enterprise and development,” he said.

The Mindset Media vision, he added, is centred on building people, promoting enterprise, encouraging innovation and celebrating excellence. The brand’s long-term objective is to continue creating opportunities for Nigerians to tell their stories and connect with audiences locally and globally.

OGA’s approach also reflects his long-standing involvement in political and social commentary while maintaining that media should provide room for different perspectives.

He therefore called on political leaders, entrepreneurs, corporate organisations, young innovators and professionals to see the media as a partner in development rather than merely a tool for publicity.

According to him, “Politics will come and go, governments will change, businesses will grow, and new leaders will emerge, but the need for credible communication, visibility and collaboration will always remain.”

He concluded that Mindset Media will continue to build bridges across political, business, and social communities while using media, creativity, and innovation to promote a stronger and more connected Nigeria.
