On the auspicious occasion of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1448AH, I extend my warmest greetings and congratulations to our Muslim brothers and sisters across Ajeromi Ifelodun Federal Constituency and the nation at large.

Hijrah commemorates the historic, strategic migration of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) from Makkah to Madinah.

This sacred milestone is far more than a historical date on the Islamic calendar; it is a profound blueprint for systemic change, faith, and institutional resilience.

The essence of Hijrah reminds us that true progress often demands a courageous departure from obsolete, stagnant environments toward a landscape built on justice, accountability, and collective equity.

As a constituency, this new year calls for a spiritual and socio-political renewal. It challenges us to migrate away from temporary, short-term dependencies and move decisively toward sustainable human capital development, structural transformation, and enduring peace.

Just as the Prophet (PBUH) established a harmonious, prosperous, and just system in Madinah through visionary governance, we must remain steadfast in our commitment to rebuilding the social and economic fabric of our communities—from Ojo Road and Amukoko to Odunade, Boundary, and beyond.

May this new year 1448AH usher in divine blessings, security, and unprecedented prosperity for every household in Ajeromi Ifelodun. Let us use this sacred season to pray for the peace of our nation and to rededicate ourselves to the collective development of our constituency.
Hijrah Mubarak!
