I’m thrilled to share that today I hosted a memorable Birthday/New Year celebration in Emede, my hometown, where I distributed food items to over 200 women from the community! It was a colourful ceremony, filled with worship, praise, and joy, as I chose to share the blessings and grace God has bestowed upon me.

I was overwhelmed by the turnout of political stakeholders, friends, and well-wishers, including members of the APC in the community. It was truly a celebration of community and camaraderie.

In my remarks, I expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for His unwavering guidance and blessings. I also took the opportunity to commend Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for his exemplary leadership and commitment to the development of Delta State. I’m proud to be part of a government that’s making significant strides in delivering dividends of democracy to the people.

The smiles on the faces of the over 200 women who received the bags of rice and packs of salts were priceless! Mrs. Esther Etene and Mrs. Oge Christy, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, aptly captured the sentiment: “We are happy that Hon. Emakpor Odogu gave rice and salt to us… we pray for him to go up, up, he will move from one higher position to another”.

I’m grateful for the love and support, and I’m committed to continuing to serve and make a difference in my community.

Hon. Emakpor Odogu.
Executive Assistant to the Governor on Community Development.
