Ambassador Sunny Eromobor has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Chief Dan Orbih at the age of 64, describing his death as a painful loss to Edo State, Nigeria, and all those who valued his contributions to public life.
In his condolence message, Amb. Eromobor described the late Dan Orbih as a prominent Edo son whose years of service, leadership, courage, and commitment to the development of his people left a significant mark on the state.
He noted that beyond politics and public engagements, Dan Orbih was a man who built relationships, inspired many, and remained deeply connected to the affairs and aspirations of his people. His passing, according to Eromobor, has created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill.
“Edo State will miss him,” Amb. Eromobor said, emphasizing the impact of Orbih’s presence, experience, and contributions to the state and the wider Nigerian society.
Amb. Eromobor extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family, friends, associates, political colleagues, and the people of Edo State, praying that God will grant the family the strength and courage to bear the irreparable loss.
He urged everyone who knew the late Dan Orbih to remember him for the positive footprints he left behind and the lives he touched during his lifetime.
May the soul of Chief Dan Orbih rest in peace, and may God grant his family and the people of Edo State the fortitude to bear this great loss.
